Anne works on virtually all civil aspects of real estate law, focusing on tenancy law and the purchase and sale of real estate.

She acts on behalf of project developers, investors, retailers and other commercial real estate parties.

Anne graduated from Leiden University in 2016 specialising in civil law. During her studies, she spent a semester studying at the McGill University in Montreal, Canada, as well as undertaking work placements at the District Court of Rotterdam and a number of law firms. Anne then began her career as a lawyer at CMS’ real estate practice, where she gained experience in commercial real estate transactions and project development. In 2020, Anne made the switch to Hemwood.

Anne is a member of the Dutch Association of Young Real Estate Lawyers (Vereniging van Jonge Onroerend Goed Juristen) and FRESH Professionals. Anne also contributes to columns such as the online case law overview ‘Selectie & Essentie’ of the leading magazine on commercial tenancy law in the Netherlands, ‘Tijdschrift voor Huurrecht Bedrijfsruimte’.

Anne Storm has registered the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Real Estate law.
Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
