Nienke de Jong

Nienke started as a solicitor at Boekel De Nerée in 2007. There she specialized in commercial rental law, purchase and sale of real estate and administrative law. After 5 years of working in the legal profession, she started as a corporate lawyer in the Area and Project Development Department of the Ymere housing cooperative. Here, Nienke mastered real estate law to its full extent in 8 years.
She advised project developers in the context of new construction projects (Haarlemmermeer) and inner-city redevelopments (Amsterdam), from the purchase of land to the problems after completion and everything in between. In addition, she has become skilled in negotiating and contracting with developers, municipalities, investors and contractors. They appreciate Nienke because she – in addition to legal risks – has an eye for commercial opportunities. In September 2019 Nienke switched to Hemwood.
In 2016 Nienke completed the postgraduate course in Real Estate Law at the Grotius Academy. She is a member of the Real Estate Lawyers Association.
Nienke de Jong has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister): Tenancy law and Real Estate law.
Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
