Notarial Paralegal
Rosanne Overwijk joined Hemwood on 1 September 2022 and is part of the notarial team. She studied Office Management at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and then went to work for the notary practice of DLA Piper. She got infected with the notarial bug there and in 2021 successfully completed the Property Law Registered Notarial Clerk and Corporate Law Registered Notarial Clerk courses.
As a notarial paralegal, Rosanne is an indispensable link in today’s notarial practice. She arranges for efficient identification and legalisation processes and, with her knowledge of land registry and other requisite notarial searches, makes a major contribution to all preparatory activities for transactions. She supports Hemwood’s lawyers, civil-law notaries and candidate civil-law notaries with title searches related to DD investigations and takes a lot of the work out of their hands when it comes to supporting them in drafting and arranging for powers of attorney and completion statements.
